BMW of Houston Midtown is part of the rapidly growing Group 1 Automotive , a leader in automotive retail and service. We’re expanding our team and looking for entry-level Automotive Technicians and Lube Technicians who are eager to grow their careers with a premier BMW dealership. • Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

• Previous automotive experience or technical training required; dealership experience a plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
