Job Description

We are looking for detail-oriented Data Collection Administrative Staff to support critical public safety data initiatives. If you have a background in criminal justice, legal data entry, or administrative research, we want to hear from you!

Key Details

• Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
• Location: Indianapolis, IN (Indiana Government Center South)
• Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday Friday (Flexible hours available)
• Interview Process: Phone Interview + In-Person Interview

Core Skills Required

• Data Entry & Management: Broad experience with high-volume data collection, data entry, and utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
• Document Analysis: Strong ability to read, interpret, and process complex legal and court documents.
• Confidentiality & Discretion: High level of comfort handling sensitive, detailed crime information with total discretion.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to coordinate seamlessly with local and state law enforcement agencies.
• Education: Bachelor s degree required (Equivalent work experience considered).

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Familiarity with criminal history records (e.g., Triple Is, probable cause affidavits, sentencing documents, court orders).
• Prior legal or criminal justice research experience.
• Basic knowledge of state criminal codes and the justice system.
