The Franchise Tax Board's (FTB) Enterprise Applications Analysis Services Section is seeking a new analyst to join our team! We're looking for a Data Governance Analyst who will make a difference in our team as together we solve enterprise problems with meaningful solutions! In this role you will be responsible for performing independently on information technology (IT) systems, problems and analysis activities. The analyst will ensure the Enterprise Data to Revenue (EDR) system is aligned and compliant with Data Governance policies, Enterprise Data Advisory Team (EDAT) standards and data management practices to acquire, administer and consume data which will maximize the value of enterprise assets. As the Data Governance Analyst must have the knowledge to identify, analyze, and evaluate data; think logically and creatively to develop plans; solve problems; make recommendations; and support business functions. They should have the knowledge to develop and maintain test scenarios, test scripts, test data, and validate test results to expected outcomes. The analyst serves as a technical point of contact with departmental teams and completes studies and reports for existing programs used by the business.
