We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team.
This role is primarily backend-focused and requires strong technical leadership, system design expertise, and hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate is someone who can architect scalable systems, lead developers, make high-level technical decisions, and deliver production-quality software in fast-paced environments.
## Responsibilities
* Lead backend architecture and engineering initiatives
* Design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
* Guide and mentor software developers
* Review code and enforce engineering best practices
* Collaborate with frontend developers, project managers, and stakeholders
* Optimize application performance and database efficiency
* Participate in technical planning and decision-making
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues
* Ensure high-quality software delivery and maintainability
## Requirements
* 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
* Strong backend development expertise
* Deep understanding of system architecture and distributed systems
* Experience with APIs, databases, authentication, and cloud infrastructure
* Strong knowledge of software design patterns and engineering principles
* Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
* Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Experience working in remote or international teams is a plus
