Role Overview

BMOC is seeking a dependable Painter / Drywall Repair Technician to supportapartment turns, renovations, and common area maintenance across our Madisonportfolio. This is a Level I role, designed for a professional with a solidfoundation in residential painting who can work independently and deliverhigh-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Painting: Complete unit turns, common areas, hallways, and renovation projects.
  • Prep Work: Handle sanding, patching, caulking, priming, and masking.
  • Drywall Repair: Perform minor repairs, including patching and texture matching.
  • Documentation: Track completed tasks in Entrata or assigned maintenance systems.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with property management and travel between portfolio sites.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior residential or multi-family painting experience required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in surface preparation and minor drywall repair.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
  • Capability to lift and move painting supplies and equipment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements (brushing, rolling, sanding).
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and around standard job-site materials.
