North Shore Bank is a locally-owned and managed, independent, community bank that has been operating in the Duluth area for over 100 years! We are seeking a full-time Personal Banking Associate to join our Retail department! The individual in this role will assist customers with account opening requests and other retail banking products, provide clerical and administrative support needed to process and close customer loans. Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service in-person and over the phone, opens all types of consumer accounts and provides support for online and mobile banking products and services.
• Process accurate loan documents as requested from lenders. Follows-up with processing until closing and disbursement. Completes any post-closing processing or reporting as necessary.
• Intermediate knowledge of bank products and services. Provides in-depth product education to customers.
• Files loan documents with the appropriate agencies and image work as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A high school education or GED
• Six months to two years of similar or related banking experience preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills and desire to help others
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, time management and computer skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently and in a team environment
