Job Description

We are a new family owned pizzeria and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza and Prep Cook to join our team. If you have a passion for food (specifically pizza) with a background in food preparation and cooking and have open availability, we want to hear from you.

You will be:

• Preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and specialty orders to ensure each pizza meets our quality standards;
• Ensuring all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards;
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices;
• Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assisting with restocking as needed;
• Helping with order taking and cleaning (wipe downs, dishes, etc.) as needed;
• Part of an enthusiastic team and must be a team player.
• Asked to work weekends and nights.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years previous experience in cooking and/or kitchen food preparation; pizzeria experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
• Experience with understanding and prepping for special dietary needs and allergies;
• Proficient knife skills
