We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide service at a substance abuse clinic in the Bridgeport, CT area.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide triage services (evaluate medical and psychiatric status based on admission criteria)
* Determine level of withdrawal management needed
* Administer and monitor individuals' medical needs in accordance with orders by prescribing physicians
* Order, transcribe, and reconcile medications per MD order as needed
* Communicate with pharmacy as needed
* Maintain ongoing relationships with other health care providers to provide consistency of prescribed treatment procedures and techniques
* Maintain medical records and oversee thorough documentation

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* CT RN certification
* Experience working with adults who have challenges with substance abuse
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid
