Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Cleveland, OH

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room (ER) team at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in critical and emergency situations. The ER RN will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to assess, triage, and treat patients while ensuring optimal patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with various critical conditions and injuries.
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity of condition.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide necessary treatments.
• Assist with life-saving procedures and interventions in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient information and interventions using the hospital's systems.
• Ensure patient safety and provide emotional support to patients and families.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
• Orientation: 16 hours of non-billable orientation.

Qualifications:

• 18 months of recent ER nursing experience in a permanent (full-time) position prior to travel . This is a non-negotiable requirement .
• Valid Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at the time of submission (required for eligibility).
• AHA or client BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC certification is preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to work every other holiday .
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both is required.
• Qualivis – Lotus system will be used to submit hours worked.
