Job Description
Join our dynamic educational community as a School Principal and lead a motivated team of educators dedicated to fostering academic excellence and a nurturing environment for students. We are seeking a visionary and innovative leader committed to achieving and maintaining high educational standards and building strong, collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents, and the broader community.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to promote a safe, positive, and inclusive school culture.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve educational outcomes.
- Oversee school operations, including curriculum development, budget management, and staff evaluation.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional development for teachers and staff.
- Engage with students, staff, parents, and community members to build partnerships and enhance educational opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal educational policies and regulations.
- Lead initiatives to integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into the curriculum.
- Analyze student performance data to inform decision-making and enhance teaching and learning processes.
- Meeting with parents and administrators regularly for problem resolution.
- Enforcing discipline when necessary.
- Providing an atmosphere free of any bias in which students can achieve their maximum potential.
- Ensuring that academic policies and curriculum are followed.
- Developing and tracking benchmarks for measuring institutional success.
- Helping teachers maximize their teaching potential
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Valid Michigan Administrative Certificate for K-12 Education
- 3-5 years of proven experience in educational leadership or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage school resources effectively and equitably.
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.
- Proficient in using technology to enhance educational and administrative processes.
