Overview
Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonography) – Massena, New York. Start date: 06/08/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 4x10 Days. Travel assignment in a outpatient imaging setting within a community hospital. Weekly pay range: $2,340–$2,444 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This role focuses on outpatient ultrasound studies across a pediatric to geriatric patient population.

Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations across OB (first through third trimester), abdominal, vascular (DVT and carotid), and breast imaging; provide pediatric to geriatric imaging as assigned
- Prepare patients, position and comfort them, apply gel, and ensure high-quality images following established protocols
- Document findings in the electronic health record and communicate preliminary results to the radiologist or referring clinician
- Operate ultrasound equipment, ensure equipment maintenance, and uphold safety and infection-control standards
- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis; support biopsies when applicable
- Float to outpatient areas as needed and participate in the assigned call schedule

Requirements
- New York state license in hand to submit
- ARDMS certification and BLS required
- Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience
- Community hospital outpatient setting experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Preferred but not required: ARRT – Sonography; RDMS (AB, OB, BR, Peds); RVT
- Call: Every 3rd day after 6 PM and every 3rd weekend; ability to float to outpatient areas
