Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit patients on assigned night shifts.
- Manage care planning, medication administration, and monitoring of physiological changes in neonates.
- Assess psychosocial needs of neonates and educate their families as part of a comprehensive care approach.
- Document nursing assessments, progress notes, and care plans with attention to accuracy and continuity of care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice; cross-train and float to pediatric patients as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, quality of care, and adherence to care protocols and guidelines.

Requirements
- Neonatal intensive care unit nursing experience.
- Ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule (3x12) and maintain 36 hours per week.
- Willingness to be cross-trained and to float to pediatric patients as needed.
- Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting and support families during the neonatal transition.
- Travel assignment with a contract duration of 13 weeks; strong documentation and collaboration skills.
