Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Python applications that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services using APIs for seamless data exchange.
• Maintain and enhance existing web applications built with technologies such as React Express, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure deployments on AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in Agile development environments while utilizing version control tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance across Linux and Windows platforms.
• Implement security protocols such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to safeguard sensitive data within applications.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions to ensure timely delivery of features aligned with project goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on Python programming language.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components including Linux servers, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs, application development frameworks like React Express, and front-end development tools such as JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL and SQL Server; experience with C#, C++, Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git for collaborative development workflows.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
• Ability to develop secure applications utilizing RBAC principles and other security best practices.
