Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile technique for a variety of surgical cases
- Assist team by passing instruments, maintaining counts, and assisting with draping and gowning
- Support a range of procedures across General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental
- Maintain equipment readiness, manage supplies, and support room turnover between cases
- Collaborate with the surgical team and anesthesia personnel to promote patient safety and efficiency

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
- Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, or Dental procedures
- Must stay within 30 minutes of the assignment site when on-call
- Iowa Mandatory Reporter training completed
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Education: as above; no additional licensure details provided
