Core Responsibilities
Requires a bus license or willingness to obtain and maintain a bus license.

• Assessment: Evaluating the current strengths and weaknesses of individuals or team members.
• Program Development: Creating personalized, structured plans and training programs tailored to specific short-term and long-term goals.
• Instruction & Training: Planning and executing practice sessions, drills, and workshops to teach fundamental skills and strategy.
• Performance Analysis: Monitoring progress, tracking data or performance metrics, and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Motivation: Providing continuous encouragement, emotional support, and maintaining client/athlete enthusiasm.
• Record Keeping & Maintenance: Managing player statistics, equipment, and ensuring safe training environments (especially in sports).

• Communication: Ability to clearly explain concepts, provide constructive criticism, and listen actively.
• Leadership & Empathy: Strong capability to inspire, build team morale, and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
• Patience: Understanding that growth, skill development, and behavior changes take time and persistence.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise in the specific domain they are coaching (e.g., basketball, career management, executive leadership).

Work Environment

• Schedules: Coaching often requires highly irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly for athletic or part-time roles.
• Physical/Mental Demand: Often involves physical activity (demonstrating movements) or high mental engagement (analyzing performance and devising game plans/strategies)
